Tezpur University Advocates Indo-Russian Think Tank to Promote Education and Research

Tezpur University Vice Chancellor Prof. Shambhu Nath Singh, along with Prof. Subhrangshu Sekhar Sarkar, met Indian Embassy officials in Vladivostok, Russia, to discuss establishing a joint Indo-Russian think tank on strategic policies for education. The proposed think tank aims to serve as a policy and research hub, fostering structured educational advancement across the Asia-Pacific region. It will leverage shared experiences and best practices of India and Russia, promoting joint research and innovation in critical sectors such as aviation, energy, oil and gas, environment, and digital transformation. The initiative builds on prior engagements at the Eastern Economic Forum.
