MLA Tapi Darang inaugurated the statue in the presence of senior officials, public leaders, and citizens. The ceremony included prayers, floral tributes, and appreciation certificates for active participants in the cleanliness drive. Deputy Commissioner Sonalika Jiwani and other dignitaries urged social responsibility and discouraging littering. Attendees pledged to maintain cleanliness, while Congress leaders also paid tributes. The new statue, replacing the old one, aligns with the Smart City Mission and Gandhi’s ideals.
