Zubeen Garg’s Wife Alleges He Was Forcibly Taken to the Water

In an exclusive interview, Garima Saikia Garg, wife of late Assam singer Zubeen Garg, alleged he was forcibly taken into water despite medical advice against swimming. She stated that key individuals, including Siddhartha, Shyamkanu Mahanta, and Shekhar Jyoti Goswami, were aware of his medical condition. Garima also questioned why Amritprabha Mahanta, who recorded widely circulated videos, did not inform the family or police. On October 1, Shekhar Jyoti Goswami and Amritprabha Mahanta were arrested after six days of CID interrogation. Both were reportedly in Singapore at the time of Zubeen’s death, and investigations into their involvement are ongoing.
