Arunachal Pradesh: Tawang Hosts Inaugural Monpa Youth Educational Conference to Nurture Future Leaders

Tawang hosted the first Monpa Youth Educational Conference, bringing together young participants, spiritual leaders, policymakers, and community representatives to discuss education, cultural preservation, and leadership. The event emphasized empowering youth with knowledge and skills while fostering pride in Monpa identity. Arunachal Pradesh Home Minister Mama Natung, alongside MLAs and religious leaders, attended the conference, which facilitated engagement with intellectuals, senior citizens, and the International Tibetan College Students Association. Discussions focused on preserving traditions, dialects, and Himalayan Buddhist heritage. Post-conference, Natung reviewed developmental initiatives in Tawang, urging youth to actively contribute to community and state progress through leadership, cultural awareness, and unity.
