Late-Night Clash Erupts in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir

A late-night shootout occurred in Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir, between terrorists and SOG (Special Operations Group) personnel in the Beeranthub area of Kandi. Joint security forces are conducting a search operation to locate the terrorists, according to Jammu IG of Police Bhim Sen Tuti. No casualties have been reported so far. Rajouri has been a frequent target of terrorist attacks, including a two-day assault that claimed at least seven lives, including a child. India has stepped up anti-terror operations in the region following the Pahalgam attack in April, aiming to curb repeated terrorist activities in key areas like Rajouri.
