In the ongoing investigation into late singer Zubeen Garg’s death, two of his personal security officers (PSOs), Paresh Baishya and Nandeswar Bora, have been suspended over alleged financial irregularities. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID), with the Special Investigation Team (SIT), interrogated them for three days after complaints of misconduct surfaced. Preliminary findings suggest suspicious digital transactions involving several crores of rupees linked to their bank accounts, allegedly diverting funds belonging to Zubeen Garg. Around Rs 70 lakh was traced to Bora’s account and Rs 40 lakh to Baishya’s. Investigators are examining the transaction trails to determine misuse or personal gain.
