Home Minister Amit Shah Adopts Zoho Mail in Push for Swadeshi Digital Initiative

The move, part of India’s push for swadeshi digital tools, reflects support for homegrown brands. Zoho, headquartered in Chennai, is a SaaS company and a rival to Gmail and Outlook in India, used by many businesses. Shah joins other ministers, including IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who recently adopted Zoho Office Suite, amid the government’s promotion of swadeshi software.
