Assam Police have arrested Zubeen Garg’s personal security officers, Nandeswar Bora and Prabin Baishya, after uncovering over ₹1.1 crore in financial transactions in their accounts, far exceeding their known income. The PSOs, who had been with the singer for nearly a decade and were initially deputed by Assam Police due to ULFA threats, maintained bank statements and a transaction diary. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) continues probing financial irregularities and potential negligence. So far, seven people have been arrested in connection with Garg’s death, including festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta, manager Siddhartha Sharma, musician Sekharjyoti Goswami, singer Amritprabha Mahanta, and cousin DSP Sandipan Garg.
