SIT Chief Munna Prasad Gupta: Zubeen Garg’s Post-Mortem Report to Be Submitted to Court, Not Released Publicly

Special Investigation Team (SIT) Chief and CID Special DGP Munna Prasad Gupta briefed the media on October 13 regarding the investigation into singer Zubeen Garg’s death. He confirmed the probe is progressing rapidly and legally, with several key individuals already questioned and more expected, including a possible arrival from Singapore. Gupta clarified that the post-mortem report will not be made public but submitted directly to the court. Permission has been sought to continue inquiries in Singapore. He emphasized that those in 14-day custody cannot be re-interrogated yet, and assured that all procedures are being strictly followed within the legal framework.
