TCS and IBM Join Forces to Advance Quantum Computing in Andhra Pradesh

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM have partnered to advance India’s quantum industry through the Quantum Valley Tech Park in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. Anchored by IBM’s Quantum System Two with a 156-qubit Heron processor, the park aims to foster innovation by enabling access to IBM’s quantum technology. TCS will collaborate on algorithm and application development to solve complex national challenges. Supported by the Andhra Pradesh government, the initiative is part of India’s National Quantum Mission and aims to boost research, create high-end jobs, and drive applications in fields like life sciences, energy, cryptography, and manufacturing through quantum computing.
