Coming Soon: Unified EC App for Voters and Election Officials

The Election Commission is developing a unified app and website called ECINET, set to replace 40 existing apps used by voters and electoral officials. Expected to launch before the Bihar elections later this year, ECINET will consolidate services like the Voter Turnout app, Know Your Candidate app, and election results app, as well as platforms used by Electoral Registration Officers and Booth Level Officers. The initiative, led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, was proposed during a conference of Chief Electoral Officers held in March.
