Meghalaya CM Conrad K. Sangma inaugurated solar-powered classrooms at the Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Tura. The initiative aims to provide digitally-enabled learning in power-deficient areas. These classrooms, equipped with solar energy systems, ensure uninterrupted power, promoting interactive and tech-driven education. The project, part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, is a collaboration with Global Himalayan Expedition (GHE), the PA Sangma Foundation, and Shree Cement.
