Raj Bhavan and IIT Guwahati Sign Agreement to Drive Digital Transformation

Assam Raj Bhavan and IIT Guwahati signed a Memorandum of Association (MoA) in the presence of Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya to digitally transform the functioning of Raj Bhavan. This first-of-its-kind project in India will see IIT Guwahati act as a knowledge partner and consultant under the Gyan Kalyan Project. The initiative aims to enhance efficiency in public service delivery using advanced digital tools and e-governance systems. It will cover various functions of the Governor’s office, including constitutional, statutory, and public engagement aspects. The project will develop portals and frameworks for better governance, public grievance redressal, and administrative transparency.
