Tesla India Country Head Resigns: Report

Tesla’s India country head, Prashanth Menon, has resigned as the chairman of Tesla India’s board, according to a Bloomberg News report. This comes at a crucial time as Tesla nears the launch of its electric cars in India, the world’s third-largest car market. Tesla’s China teams will now oversee operations in India, with no immediate successor named. Menon had been with the Elon Musk-led company for nearly nine years. In March, Tesla signed a lease deal for its first showroom in Mumbai, reviving previously shelved plans to expand in India.
