China has lifted its ban on domestic airlines receiving Boeing aircraft following a trade truce with the U.S., according to Bloomberg. The move follows an agreement between the two nations to reduce tariffs for 90 days, easing trade tensions. Beijing has informed carriers that U.S.-made plane deliveries can resume. Boeing had faced delays as Chinese customers hesitated due to tariffs. China makes up 10% of Boeing’s backlog, with plans for 50 jets to be delivered in 2025. Of 30 undelivered 737 MAX jets, 25 are expected to go to China. Exemptions for some aerospace parts were already in place before the deal.
