Following the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, New Delhi lifted the temporary closure of 32 airports in northern and western India, allowing regular flight operations to resume. The airports had been shut due to heightened tensions after India's military strikes in Pakistan. Airlines, including IndiGo, Air India Express, and SpiceJet, have started resuming flights, with IndiGo operating flights to Jammu, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. However, IndiGo's Delhi-Amritsar flight was diverted due to a precautionary blackout. Over 300 flights were previously canceled daily, and airports in defense areas like Jammu, Srinagar, and Amritsar were affected.
