India has firmly denied rumors of a nuclear mishap in Pakistan following Operation Sindoor, clarifying that its military actions were entirely conventional. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that Pakistan's claims of a nuclear angle were baseless, citing Pakistan's own denial. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized that the military action was aimed at conventional targets, not nuclear sites. India’s strikes on May 9-10 targeted 11 Pakistani airbases, destroying nearly 20% of Pakistan's air force assets. Jaiswal also criticized Pakistan's habitual claim of victory despite military setbacks, recalling similar behavior in past conflicts. The ceasefire followed Pakistan's failed assault and India’s strong counteroffensive.
