Prince of Persia Remake Set to Release in 2026

Ubisoft has confirmed that the much-delayed Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake will launch between January and March 2026, during the company’s 2025-26 financial year. Originally announced in 2020, the remake faced fan backlash, developer changes, and a major overhaul when development shifted from India to Montreal and Toronto studios. The game is being rebuilt with improved visuals, combat, and a more authentic Persian setting, including a new actor for the Prince. Despite delays, Ubisoft remains committed, boosted by the success of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. A new trailer is expected soon.
