Cleartrip, a Flipkart company, appoints Manoj Awasthi as Chief Technology Officer

Flipkart-owned online travel platform Cleartrip has appointed Manoj Awasthi as its Chief Technology Officer to strengthen the company’s leadership. Manoj will lead engineering, data, and infrastructure efforts to build a scalable, user-focused platform. Previously, he served as Chief Technology & Product Officer at Julo. Ramesh Gururaja, Flipkart’s Senior VP, called Manoj’s appointment a key step toward building a future-ready leadership team with cross-functional expertise. Manoj expressed his goal to modernize Cleartrip’s tech stack and simplify travel planning for users. Flipkart acquired a majority stake in Cleartrip in April 2021.
