Accenture plans to promote nearly 50,000 employees globally next month after delaying its December promotion cycle due to weak consulting demand. Around 6% of its 801,000 workforce will be promoted, including 15,000 in India, 11,000 in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and 10,000 in the Americas. Despite declining operating margins and economic uncertainty, some key employees will get pay raises, with bonuses decided in December. The company reduced 19,000 jobs since 2023 and faces scrutiny over U.S. government contracts amid slower client spending and policy changes under the Trump administration.
