Tragedy in Panchkula: Seven from Dehradun Family Found Dead in Car, Suicide Pact Suspected

In a tragic incident, seven members of a Dehradun-based family were found dead inside a locked car in Sector 27, Panchkula, in a suspected suicide pact. The deceased, identified as Praveen Mittal, his parents, wife, and three children, reportedly took the extreme step due to heavy financial debt. They had come to attend a religious event at Bageshwar Dham and allegedly committed suicide while returning to Dehradun. Locals alerted authorities after noticing them struggling in the car. Police recovered a suicide note and are investigating the case. The bodies were sent for post-mortem, and senior officials are overseeing the probe.
