Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan in Sepahijala district, promoting technology-driven agriculture to boost productivity. Part of the national Viksit Sankalp Yatra, the campaign connects farmers with modern practices like Artificial Intelligence (AI). Saha highlighted AI’s role in providing weather alerts and pest control via drones. Under the Digital Krishi Mission, farmers access region-specific seeds, improving crop quality. He noted farmers’ average monthly income doubled from ₹6,580 (2015-16) to ₹13,590 (2025-26), supported by government schemes like PM Kisan Yojana. The state is modernizing markets and attracting significant investments to strengthen its agricultural economy.
