Unacademy co-founders Gaurav Munjal and Roman Saini are expected to step back from daily operations to focus on Airlearn, their language-learning venture. Airlearn, with 70,000 daily users and $2M annual revenue, may spin off as an independent entity. Sumit Jain, Graphy founder, will lead Unacademy’s offline ops amid a broader leadership reshuffle. Unacademy, valued at $3.44B with $880M in funding, saw FY24 revenue dip to ₹988.4 crore but slashed losses by 62%. Munjal claims reduced cash burn and strong financials. Airlearn is gaining global traction, especially in the US, UK, and Germany, offering 13 language courses.
