Ericsson Secures Multi-Year Contract to Manage Bharti Airtel’s Pan-India Network

Bharti Airtel signed a multi-year Network Operations Center (NOC) Managed Services agreement with Ericsson to manage its pan-India network, including 4G, 5G NSA and SA, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Private Networks, and Network Slicing. Ericsson will operate Airtel’s network through its advanced NOC, enhancing FWA and Network Slicing across India. Airtel’s CTO, Randeep Sekhon, emphasized the partnership’s role in building a future-ready network to meet growing data demands. Ericsson highlighted the use of Intent-Based NOC Operations to diversify services and create new revenue opportunities. The deal strengthens their 25-year collaboration, following their recent 5G Core technology partnership.
