Artificial Intelligence (AI) is accelerating the work of U.S. intelligence services, said Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard at a tech conference. AI tools, when used responsibly, help cut costs and allow intelligence officers to focus on analysis. Gabbard highlighted how AI rapidly scanned and processed thousands of pages related to the JFK and RFK assassinations, expediting declassification. Since taking office, Gabbard has restructured operations, fired two intelligence officers seen as opposing Trump, removed DEI programs, and brought the President’s Daily Brief team under direct control to increase efficiency and oversight across the 18 U.S. intelligence agencies she coordinates.
