Meta Names Arun Srinivas as New Head of India Operations

Meta has appointed Arun Srinivas as the Managing Director and India Head, following the exit of Shivnath Thukral. He will assume the role from July 1, 2025, reporting to Sandhya Devanathan, who now leads Meta in India and Southeast Asia. Srinivas, currently leading Meta’s ads business in India, brings nearly 30 years of experience from roles at Hindustan Unilever, Reebok, Ola, and WestBridge Capital. An IIM Kolkata graduate, he will focus on driving business, innovation, and revenue strategies while supporting Meta’s long-term growth in India. Since joining Meta in 2020, he has played a key role in partnerships and ad revenue growth.
