A Lucknow-bound IndiGo flight (6E 6811) from Goa faced mid-air turbulence on June 16 due to active monsoon weather in western India. The airline confirmed that the crew, trained to manage such situations, followed safety protocols and the flight landed safely in Lucknow. No further details were disclosed. IndiGo assured passenger safety throughout the incident. Last month, another IndiGo flight from Delhi to Srinagar with 227 passengers, including TMC MPs, encountered a sudden hailstorm, forcing the pilot to declare an emergency. Though all passengers deplaned safely, the aircraft’s nose sustained damage from the storm.
