IndiGo, Air India Among Airlines Cancelling and Rerouting Flights After Iran’s Strike on US Base in Qatar

Following Iran's missile strike on the US air base in Qatar, flight operations across the Middle East were disrupted. Major Indian airlines like IndiGo, Air India, and Air India Express, along with global carriers, cancelled or rerouted flights due to airspace closures in several Middle Eastern countries. Delhi Airport saw 48 flight cancellations, while Mangaluru Airport also experienced delays. Air India suspended all operations to the region, including North America and Europe routes. IndiGo and Air India diverted multiple flights. As the situation eased with a ceasefire, IndiGo began gradually resuming services, prioritizing passenger safety and monitoring developments closely.
