Iran-Israel Conflict: Government Monitoring Situation as Airlines Cancel and Reroute Flights

In response to escalating Middle East tensions and airspace closures following Iran's retaliatory attacks on a U.S. base in Qatar, Indian carriers have been forced to cancel or reroute several flights for safety, said Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. The Ministry of Civil Aviation is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with airlines to provide real-time updates, prioritizing passenger safety. Indigo suspended operations to several Gulf cities until 10 AM today, while Air India halted all flights to the region, North America’s East Coast, and Europe. Flights are being diverted or returned to origin to avoid closed airspaces.
