Assam Collaborates with BookMyShow to Organise Global Music Concerts

The Assam government has partnered with Bigtree Entertainment, owner of BookMyShow, to host national and international music concerts across the state. The agreement, signed between Assam Tourism Development Corporation and BookMyShow in the presence of CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, aims to make ticketing seamless and promote Assam as a major entertainment hub. Sarma emphasized the initiative’s potential to boost tourism, engage youth, and transform Assam’s cultural landscape. With growing infrastructure in Guwahati and other cities like Dibrugarh, the state is preparing to host global concerts. The collaboration is expected to strengthen Assam’s presence in the international entertainment arena.
