Assamese Language Learning Centre Inaugurated in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh

In a move to promote cultural harmony and linguistic inclusivity, Arunachal Pradesh’s Education Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona inaugurated the Assamese Language Learning Centre (LLC) in Itanagar, initiated by the Assamese Association of Itanagar (AAI). The centre aims to strengthen ties between Arunachal Pradesh and Assam through language learning. Minister Sona highlighted the unifying power of language and praised the initiative as a model of cultural cooperation. The event was attended by Padma Shri awardee and literary icon Yeshe Dorjee Thongchi and Lakhimpur University Principal Pramod Kalita. The centre is seen as a step toward regional unity and mutual respect.
