The Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department has upgraded three nursing schools into nursing colleges: at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, District Hospital Dimapur, and Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital Mokokchung. From the 2025–26 academic session, the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course will be discontinued and replaced with the B.Sc (Nursing) course. Admissions will be through the CUET-UG entrance exam, and seat allotments will be handled by the Directorate of Technical Education. The total number of seats available is 100—20 in Kohima and 40 each in Dimapur and Mokokchung. Candidates are advised to follow official websites for updates.
