Assam CM Urges Students to Embrace Emerging Technologies for Nation’s Progress

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, at Goreswar College’s Golden Jubilee event in Tamulpur, urged students to embrace emerging technologies and modern skills to contribute to nation-building. Emphasizing education’s role in socio-economic empowerment, he praised the college's growth and stressed aligning education with national goals, including PM Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. Calling youth ‘Amrit Santan’, he encouraged them to lead India’s transformation. Sarma highlighted the need for students to engage with advanced fields like AI, quantum physics, and data analytics, urging institutions to update curricula to meet the demands of the evolving technological landscape.
