Priya Nair Appointed as New MD & CEO of Hindustan Unilever, Succeeding Rohit Jawa

Priya Nair has been appointed as the new MD & CEO of Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), effective August 1, 2025, becoming the company’s first woman CEO. She succeeds Rohit Jawa, who will step down on July 31 to pursue personal and professional goals. Nair, currently Unilever’s President of Beauty & Wellbeing, joined HUL in 1995 and has held key leadership roles. She will also join the HUL board. Chairman Nitin Paranjpe praised her deep market understanding. Jawa, who introduced the ASPIRE strategy, led HUL through strong growth. HUL reported ₹61,469 crore turnover and ₹10,644 crore profit in FY2025.
