Security was intensified at Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport in Patna after a bomb threat was received via email on Friday night. The email was sent to the airport director’s ID around 9 PM. Following this, the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was immediately convened and later declared the threat as non-specific and a hoax. SP (Patna Central) Diksha confirmed that security measures were heightened in response. Authorities are currently working to trace the IP address of the sender to identify the source of the threat. Despite being a false alarm, officials took all necessary precautions to ensure safety.
