In a historic achievement, Srishti Rongpipi has become the first Karbi scholar to gain admission to the University of Oxford’s prestigious MSc in Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation. Born in Diphu to retired Wing Commander Prasanta Kumar Rongpi and Reema Teronpi, she excelled academically from Shillong to Guwahati to Delhi. With a Master’s in Public Policy from NLSIU, Bangalore, and four years at Sambodhi Research, her selection to Oxford highlights her dedication to social development. Her success is a source of pride for the Karbi community and Northeast India, and a beacon of inspiration for marginalized youth across the country.
