Billionaire Gautam Adani announced the Adani Group’s entry into the healthcare sector with plans to build 1,000-bed “Adani Healthcare Temples” in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Funded through the Adani family’s ₹60,000 crore commitment to healthcare, education, and skill development, the initiative will focus on modular, scalable, AI-first infrastructure. Partnering with the Mayo Clinic, the campuses will integrate clinical care, research, and training. Adani emphasized creating affordable, innovative healthcare solutions, citing a "spinal epidemic" in India. He called on medical professionals to join this revolution through AI diagnostics, rural theatres, and advanced surgery centers, aiming to transform India’s healthcare landscape.
