Guwahati Police Hosts Verification Mela to Enhance Community Engagement

In a significant initiative to enhance police-public relations, the Guwahati Police organized a Verification Mela across all police stations in the city today.

The event, which began at 10 AM and will continue until 5 PM, offers a range of essential services to citizens, including passport verification, job verification, and grievance resolution. Additionally, individuals can report lost documents such as vehicle papers, mobile phones, SIM cards, and other important belongings.

The initiative aims to streamline verification processes, improve accessibility to police services, and foster greater community trust and cooperation.

In a proactive step to strengthen public-police relations and improve service accessibility, the Guwahati Police organized a Verification Mela across all city police stations, including Dispur Police Station. The initiative aims to streamline verification procedures and ensure efficient grievance redressal for residents.
