Meghalaya Governor CH Vijayashankar was recently honoured with the prestigious Kaveri Prashasti Award during a formal ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Shillong. The award was presented by Dr Sri Sri Trinetra Mahanta Shivayogi Swamiji, the head of Sri Durdandeshwara Mahanta Shivayogi Math in Mandya district and Sri DMS Chandravana Ashrama in Srirangapatna, Karnataka.
