Gomati District in Tripura Honoured for Excellence in Public Administration

Tripura’s Gomati district has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration for the year 2024. This national recognition was conferred in the category of ‘Holistic Development of Districts’, underscoring the district’s exceptional performance in governance, innovation, and developmental initiatives.

The award was presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Civil Services Day celebration held in New Delhi on April 21. Representing the district, District Magistrate Tarit Kanti Chakma received the honour on behalf of the administration.
