Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Norway Ambassador Discuss Green Energy and Sustainable Aviation Fuel Ties
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Norway's Ambassador to India, May-Elin Stener, recently held talks exploring collaboration in areas such as green energy, sustainable aviation fuel, and bio-refining.
In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, CM Sarma expressed his pleasure at meeting Ambassador Stener and shared that their discussion covered a wide range of topics, including bio-refinery, green ammonia, and other emerging sectors. He emphasized Assam's initiatives in green energy and the potential for future partnerships with Norway.

During the meeting, Sarma also provided insights into Assam's natural and cultural assets, mentioning its three World Heritage Sites and extending a warm invitation to Ambassador Stener to visit Kaziranga National Park.
Ambassador Stener, in her own post, expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations, thanking the Chief Minister for the productive meeting and reaffirming her interest in further discussions on shared goals.
