Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has once again commended ‘Operation Sindoor’, highlighting it as evidence that ‘New India’ will relentlessly pursue and eliminate terrorists, regardless of where they hide. He praised the Indian Armed Forces for their successful execution of the operation, which resulted in the elimination of over 100 Pakistani terrorists and the destruction of key military and terror-related infrastructure within Pakistan.

Sarma also applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership during the crisis, describing it as mature and visionary. He stated that Modi, as the leader of the world's oldest civilisation, is guiding the country with wisdom and responsibility. Addressing BJP workers, Sarma urged them to actively communicate with the public about India’s growing stature on the global stage. He emphasized the importance of informing citizens about India’s achievements and the respect it commands internationally under Modi's leadership.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Sarma shared his thoughts after watching a recent briefing by the Director Generals of Military Operations (DGMOs). In his post, he expressed deep gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and the valiant Indian Armed Forces, commending their exemplary leadership and courage. He stated that the operation had demonstrated with undeniable evidence the capability of Indian forces to neutralize threats and deliver strategic blows to enemy infrastructure.

Sarma stressed that the most important outcome of Operation Sindoor was the message it sent — that New India would leave no stone unturned in tracking down terrorists. Whether on land, in the air, or at sea, India will pursue its enemies and eliminate them, he said, making clear that no hiding place would be safe for those who threaten the nation.

In a later speech at the Assam BJP headquarters, Sarma again praised Modi’s calm and composed leadership during the operation. He remarked that while Modi has not made many public appearances on television, he has been actively involved in continuous high-level meetings. Sarma said this demonstrates Modi’s maturity and understanding of how to lead a nation during critical times.

Responding to statements made by Pakistan’s Prime Minister amid the escalating tensions, Sarma described Pakistan as a "fragile" and "failed" state. He contrasted this with India’s long-standing civilizational heritage and asserted that under Modi’s leadership, India has become a powerful and globally respected nation.

Sarma also dismissed Pakistan’s claims of having targeted Indian locations, stating that no such attacks had occurred. He added that if any such incidents had taken place in Punjab or Jammu and Kashmir, there would have been confirmation on the ground. “The fact is that nothing has happened,” he reiterated, calling Pakistan’s claims false.

In conclusion, Sarma urged BJP members to engage with citizens and educate them about India’s rising power and influence on the global stage. He asserted that India’s current position is one that other nations now look to emulate, highlighting the progress the country has made under Modi’s leadership.
