A 53-year-old British man from Liverpool was arrested after he deliberately drove his car into a crowd of Liverpool football fans celebrating their Premier League victory on Monday in northwest England. The attack injured about 27 people, including four children, with one child and one adult in serious condition. Police stated the man acted alone and the incident is not being investigated as terrorism. Around 20 people received minor injuries treated at the scene, while others were hospitalized. He said the car was moving very fast and continued to plough through the crowd despite people charging at it.
